Tonight the city hosted a Welcome reception at the Oxford Conference Center for all the media coming to town for the first Presidential Debate.  Of course the big discussion amongst everyone was wether or not there even is going to be a debate.  It would probably make quite a few people upset should McCain back out.  The city and University have spent a huge amount of time, effort, and money to get things ready for Friday.  Personally it seems crazy that our government feels it is necessary to rush a decision and set our printer presses rolling spitting out billions of dollars.  I wonder if they could print me off a couple million as well!
